Veerabhadranasa is often translated as the brave warrior pose.
And sure enough, if you practice the variations of this and other poses in the sequence you may soon build stamina and strength.
This pose is considered one of the foundation poses to increase physical vigor and promote mental resilience.
In many flow type of classes you might find a sequence of Veera 1, 2, 3 followed by reverse warrior – while more stable classes might work on just one or two versions of the pose.
If you find yourself getting unstable, shorten the distance between two feet and you might find it easier to practice.Sometimes this pose could get challenging – particularly if you hold it for too long.
